Accomplishments: All League Freshman year Varsity soccer; First Team by Seamount League coaches; Most Inspirational voted by soccer team Freshman & Sophomore year; Varsity Basketball; Member of the Select Excalibur Kennedy Choir; Seattle Opera Youth Chorus; Musical theatre performances in five Hi-Liners productions and two St. Francis school productions; Solo and Ensemble vocal competition; National Association of Teachers of Singing vocal competition; Member of Washington All State Treble Choir 2016.
Interesting Facts: Does not like coffee, Can sing in four different languages; Stayed with a Host Family in Melbourne, Australia for five days; Participating in a Habitat for Humanity New Orleans mission trip this Spring.
Marketing Plan: As Miss Auburn’s Outstanding Teen, I will actively promote my efforts on behalf of my platform and the program at the local, state and national levels. By using social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, I will broadcast my activities and increase overall awareness of the program among my friends and family. Within the Auburn community, I plan to speak at schools, local businesses, and to the media about all of the amazing possibilities this program has to offer. My advocacy is to strive to inspire and encourage more people to want to be involved as contestants, directors, sponsors and supporters for years to come, just as I was. Most importantly, I will promote the program best by being a strong, positive representative in every aspect of my life.
Legacy: I bring enthusiasm, honesty and joy to every person and task that I meet. My work for my platform as Miss Auburn’s Outstanding Teen will be no different. I plan to share my positive spirit by building online resources for teens suffering from mental and emotional distress. I hope to be remembered for my confidence and humility, reflected in my commitment to this cause and my willingness to learn from every person that I meet.
Why I should be Miss Auburn’s Outstanding Teen 2016: I possess all of the skills and characteristics necessary to promote, expand and share my passion for this marvelous program. As a confident young woman, I know the value of good role models, and I recognize my own potential to be an uplifting example to those around me. This title of Miss Auburn’s Outstanding Teen would give me the tools and exposure necessary to help me reach out to more people and share my talents, time and energy through service and leadership.
