Interesting Facts: Received a trip to San Francisco by the Seattle Seahawks for being the Changemaker of the Year; Have visited Seattle Children’s Hospital on Christmas Eve every year for 12 years; Spoke at a Children’s Hospital Benefit Luncheon about my volunteer work with the hospital; Recently diagnosed with SVT (Super Ventricular Tachycardia); Favorite activities include rock climbing, parasailing, and cliff jumping; Started playing ice hockey at age 3; Junior Seagal for 3 years; Volunteer with the Make-A-Wish Foundation; Cheerleader for six years; Had 3 friends who died from DIPG.
Marketing Plan: As Miss Washington’s Outstanding Teen 2020, I will make appearances at various schools, community and youth centers, to speak about DIPG awareness. I will spread my passion and awareness of DIPG through social media, public events, and personal experiences. I will take part in the Run for Hope 5k, the Team Cozzi Benefit Night, the Broadway for Bravery benefit showcase, and other fundraisers like these that raise awareness and funds for DIPG. While advocating for DIPG awareness, I will be committed to representing the Miss America organization and the Miss Washington program by telling others what a difference this organization can make in one individual’s life.
How would I promote the MAOTeen Organization: As Miss Washington’s Outstanding Teen 2020 I will promote the MAOTeen Organization by informing other young women what this program has done for me, including improving my self confidence, interview skills, allowed me to use my voice to promote my social impact statement, and making life long friendships that have made a huge impact on my life.
